An orbiting Nasa space telescope captured a dark, planet-sized object flying close to the sun on Monday – and extending what looks like a refueling tube into the star’s surface.

The black, Death Star-like, orb is briefly engulfed in light from the sun, then flies off into space.

A video edited from the Solar Dynamics Observatory’s photos inspired a wave of speculation on YouTube.

The imagery was captured by Nasa’s Solar Dynamics Observatory and edited together by a YouTube user, Sunsflare, who challenged experts to explain the strange ‘visitor.’

Naturally, the space agency has a rather more ordinary explanation for the strange, black orb.

It’s not a visitor from another solar system – or a planet being born out of the surface of the sun, as others had speculated.

Instead, it’s a solar ‘prominence’ or ‘filament’ – a feature extending out from the sun which forms over the course of a day, and can extend hundreds of thousands of miles into space.

Scientists are still puzzled as to why these features form. The ‘dark’ parts are material cooler than the surrounding solar matter.

C. Alex Young, a solar astrophysicist at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Centre said, in a reply to Sunsflare’s video, ‘Filaments appear to be dark because they’re coolerin relation to what’s in the background. When you look at it from the edge of the sun, what you see is this spherical object and you’re actually looking down the tunnel.’

The video actually shows a solar 'prominence' - a little-understood feature which develops in the surface of the sun. The dark parts are actually cooler material which shows up black against the background

Nasa says, ‘A solar prominence (also known as a filament when viewed against the solar disc) is a large, bright feature extending outward from the Sun’s surface.

‘Prominences are anchored to the Sun’s surface and extend outwards into the Sun’s hot outer atmosphere, called the corona.

‘Scientists are still researching how and why prominences are formed.

‘An erupting prominence occurs when such a structure becomes unstable and bursts outward, releasing the plasma.

Nasa’s Solar Dynamics Observatory frequently captures the phenomenon – although often as violent eruptions, rather than the eerie sphere of this week’s activity.

‘It is not uncommon for prominence material to drain back to the surface as well as escape during an eruption,’ says Holly Gilbert a Goddard solar physicist.

‘Prominences are large structures, so once the magnetic fields supporting the mass are stretched out so that they are more vertical, it allows an easy path for some of the mass to drain back down.’

News.com.au, Jan 19th 2011

An article by News.com.au on January 19th 2011, claimed that the “infamous red super-giant star in Orion’s nebula, Betelgeuse (pronounced Beetle-Juice, like the film), is predicted to explode and the impending super-nova may reach Earth before 2012, and when it does, all of our ‘Star Wars’ dreams will come true.”

This is reported in other news articles, mainly TheHuffingtonPost, TheDailyMail and FoxNews.

Dr. Brad Carter, Senior Lecturer of Physics at the University of Southern Queensland, Australia, says that “when this happens, for at least a few weeks, we’d see a second sun. There may also be no night during that timeframe.”

The Daily Mail reads;

“The explosion will be so bright that even though the star in the Orion constellation is 640 light-years away, it will still turn night into day and appear like there are two suns in the sky for a few weeks.  When it happens, the Betelgeuse supernova will almost certainly be the most dramatic ever seen.

It is the ninth brightest star in the night sky and the second brightest in the constellation of Orion, outshining its neighbour Rigel – or Beta Orionis – only very rarely.

It’s distinct orange-red colour makes it easy to spot in the night sky.

If it was at the centre of our solar system, its surface would extend past the asteroid belt, wholly engulfing Mercury, Venus, Mars and the Earth.’

Betelgeuse to be second sun, Daily Mail 22nd Jan 2011

In other words, Betelgeuse is a MASSIVE star that would engulf much of our own galaxy.

Now in the article from Fox News it reads that the star WON’T explode.  So what is going on here?  Will it or won’t it?  Somebody please make up your minds!!!?  But the article continues and says a few interesting things;

“A supernova has to be no farther than about 25 light years away to be able to fry us with light or anything else, and Betelgeuse is 25 times that distance,”  (NOTE: if it has to be 25 light years away to fry us and this star is 25 times that distance, that means that this star is 625 light years away).

It continues, “Betelgeuse is several hundred light years away, so if it were to light up the sky in 2012 it would have exploded in the Middle Ages,”.  Ok to confuse us even more, it HAS exploded and we just can’t see it yet?!

Now onto the best parts.  All these reports have in them several paragraphs relating the ‘event’ to “doomsday theories” and that the “impending supernova confirms the Mayan calendar’s prediction of the Armageddon in 2012.”

Is this more fear-mongering and predictive programming coming from the mainstream media to make it seem all a joke, a conspiracy theory and/or just to debunk from what is actually going on?

First they relates it in a nice filmic way, in a way that we love, cherish and understand – through the film Star Wars and it’s ‘iconic’ scene in which Luke Skywalker looks longingly into the distance of the twin suns at sunset.  This makes it feel less of a threat and more comfortable.

Betelgeuse's position in Orion

But one of the things that confuses me is the fact that they can’t agree on how far away the Betelgeuse star is!!?  You would think that something of this magnitude would be one of the KEY facts!!?  Let’s have a look…

The original article in News.com.au reports it to be “approximately 1300 light years from Earth.”  The Daily Mail states, “the star in the Orion constellation is 640 light-years away”, and Fox News says, “A supernova has to be no farther than about 25 light years away to be able to fry us with light or anything else, and Betelgeuse is 25 times that distance” , so around 625 light years away, which could be interpreted as near the 640 Mark.

So which is it, 1300 light years away or HALF that at around 640?  Seems like if  a star is going to explode near Earth, I’d rather have it further away as possible?!  But at least they got the constellation right; ORION.

This is NOT all….

If you think about this, what do we have?  What are they saying?  In layman’s terms, they are saying that a star in the ORION constellation is going to explode and look MASSIVE in our sky, making it appear like a second sun, for a few weeks before dissapearing again.  When are they saying this will occur?  Around now and up until 2012.

Ok, let’s do some research and go back in time 28 years to an article in The Washington Post, December 30, 1983 by Thomas O’Toole. The headline reads, “Possibly as Large as Jupiter; Mystery Heavenly Body Discovered”.

Washington Post December 30, 1983

The article begins, “A heavenly body possibly as large as the giant planet Jupiter and possibly so close to Earth that it would be part of this solar system has been found in the direction of the constellation ‘Orion’ by an orbiting telescope aboard the U.S. infrared astronomical satellite.

So mysterious is the object that astronomers do not know if it is a planet, a giant comet, a nearby “protostar” that never got hot enough to become a star, a distant galaxy so young that it is still in the process of forming its first stars or a galaxy so shrouded in dust that none of the light cast by its stars ever gets through.

“All I can tell you is that we don’t know what it is,” Dr. Gerry Neugebauer, IRAS chief scientist for California’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory and director of the Palomar Observatory for the California Institute of Technology, said in an interview.

It continues, “…it is a giant gaseous planet as large as Jupiter and as close to Earth as 50 trillion miles.

While that may seem like a great distance in earthbound terms, it is a stone’s throw in cosmological terms, so close in fact that it would be the nearest heavenly body to Earth beyond the outermost planet Pluto.

“If it is really that close, it would be a part of our solar system,” said Dr. James Houck of Cornell University’s Center for Radio Physics and Space Research and a member of the IRAS science team. “If it is that ‘close’, I don’t know how the world’s planetary scientists would even begin to classify it.”

The orbit of Planet X

Before we try to understand what is being said here back in 1983, there are a few things that we need to work out.  The following day after this original article was printed, the Washington Post had to make a correction and say that they made a mistake in reporting the distance from the earth that the mysterious object actually was.  They originally reported it as “50 trillion miles from the earth”, when infact the correct figure was even closer at “50 BILLION miles from earth”.

So let me get this right!!  This MASSIVE planet, the size of Jupiter, which they reported at as “being so close in fact that it would be the nearest heavenly body to Earth beyond the outermost planet Pluto“, is infact 1000 times closer than the article originally said?

Nibiru in size relation to our planets

Now we have to do some math.

1 light year = 5.87849981 × 1012 miles

or

1 light year = 9.4605284 × 1012 kilometres

So 1 light year is just over 5.8 trillion miles and just under 10 trillion km.  How far away is this unknown MASSIVE planet that was discovered in 1983?  Originally 50 trillion miles they reported but is actually closer at 50 billion miles;

50 billion miles = 0.00850557142 light years

What does ALL this mean?  Well it means that what was reported back in 1983 is less than 100th of a light year in distance to our planet.

Considering the earth is only 92,955,887.6 miles from the sun, this ‘planet’ is roughly 500 times the distance from us as we are to the sun.  Still quite a distance.

Now according to wiki answers Betelgeuse is approximately 643 light years from earth or

643 light years = 3.77987538 × 1015 miles.

So what is the purpose of these articles?  Are they just pieces of disinfo to disguise this ‘other’ ‘Heavenly Body’ that will appear much larger as it approaches earth?  Is it when we begin to see this ‘twin sun’ that we will think it is just this Betelgeuse star going super nova instead of the arrival of another ‘planet’ into our solar system?  Whatever the case may be it still does NOT explain this:

https://jimmyprophet.wordpress.com/2011/01/14/nibiru-blocked-from-google-sky/

Why has Google Sky blocked off an area in the CONSTELLATION OF ORION, the precise location that ALL these articles point to as being where there will be some sort of ‘activity’ goings-on?!  What is actually going on?  Is the 10th planet coming back, call it Planet X, Nibiru, Gabriel’s Fist, whatever?  If so, then why has this information not come into public view?  Why is it being supressed?  What are they NOT telling us?

Constellation of Orion (look to the south west of image)

Google Sky's 'blocked' image

As we all know, the earth is going through major seismic and environmental and extreme weather conditions.  Floods, cyclones, earthquakes in regions not usual known, volcanic awakenings, animal deaths, arctic weather, pole shifts, magnetic field changes, etc al.

Is the arrival of this ‘Mysterious Heavenly Body’ playing havoc with our solar activity and our planetary orbits?  Why is the earth ringing like a bell all over?  What will happen when it arrives?

Going back to the original article posted from News.com.au, they report;

The 'Horned' Planet - Nibiru

“The interwebs is being flooded with doomsday theories saying the impending supernova confirms the Mayan calendar’s prediction of the Armageddon in 2012.These conspiracies aren’t helped by the word “Betelgeuse” being associated with the devil.

Though it is a derivation of the Arabic phrase “yad Al Jauza” meaning the “hand of Al-Jauza” referring to a mysterious woman that controls the order of the universe, it hasn’t stopped some people from clearing out their bunkers and stocking up on tinned food.”

Is this why the governments of the world have built deep underground bases, with enough food, water and living supplies to house millions if catastrophe strikes?  And who would be these ‘lucky millions’ to be allowed into these underground bases?
I know for a start that it won’t be the average Joe from the street!!
Another interesting article from The Telegraph, 18th October 2002, asks “Does the sun have a doomsday twin?”.  Is it this incoming planet?  Only time will tell.

The Telegraph, 18th October 2002

Interestingly enough, using the twin suns metaphor from Star Wars, what did George Lucas state to actor Seth Rogen on 19th January 2011?  In the TorontoSun the Star Wars director spent 20 minutes telling him (Rogen) the world would end in 2012.

Rogan meets Lucas

He recalls, “George Lucas sits down and seriously proceeds to talk for around 25 minutes about how he thinks the world is gonna end in the year 2012, like, for real. He thinks it.

He’s going on about the tectonic plates and all the time Spielberg is, like, rolling his eyes, like, ’My nerdy friend won’t shut up, I’m sorry…’

Rogen was left speechless when Lucas and Steven Spielberg joined a movie meeting he was a part of – but the encounter has left him worried his life will be over next year.”

Laugh or discredit as you may but there is too many things going on that suggest otherwise.  As I so often state, it is your self discernment that will ultimately agree or disagree with everything I have pointed to.

“Keep your nose to the ground and your eyes to the sky.”
